That's my big beef about (what I see as a majority of) Fleetwood Mac fans...they clamour for new material on album, but only want to hear the same old tired tunes in concert. Fleetwood Mac should just shove the new material down our throats, either we like it or not. If they're really that proud of the new stuff, PLAY IT (or shut the hell up about it)

There's a difference, though. Neil Young has always had a cult-type following. Because of that, his records always seem to sell very well. Fleetwood Mac has never been that way. They have never written "message" songs like NY has.
And, I don't know what a Neil Young ticket goes for, but I'm pretty sure he's playing fairly intimate venues, and not charging over $100 a ticket. I could be wrong.
The WORST thing FM could do is shove new music down our throats. They would end up playing half empty arenas and have to move to 5,000 seat theaters, or (God forbid) state fairs.
My opinion is, they're doing the right thing. With this big "we're back" tour, play mostly hits, with a couple of new tracks. Next tour, less hits, a few tracks from SYW, a few tracks from the new album (if there is one). Moderation is the key!
