Stevie might miss it. She wants her share of songs in the set that bring that kind of reaction. She had Rhiannon in the old days, but that exorcism Rhiannon cost her long term and it's not the same triumph today when it's performed. So, now the song she has that makes people leap up at the opening note and still has them fanning themselves after it's over are Stand Back and GDW. Solo, she also has Edge too, but with FM she doesn't have the equivalent. I think she likes keeping a hot dance number in her selections.

She has other songs that the audience might also like. Seven Wonders might get enhanced attention after AHS, especially. But to keep a balance in the songs we get from her, so there's an even representation of soft, sultry, fast and loud, I think Stand Back is the only thing that works. The old SOTM would work too, but not the version we got on the last tour.

There's Landslide on one side of the scale, causing the audience to sway in unison. What's on the other? Aside from Edge, I don't think she has another song that can be her Don't Stop or GYOW.

I wouldn't care if Stand Back wasn't in the setlist. But I understand the needs that keep the band from dropping it. Michele
