i thought i'd bump the post above, being singled out numerous times as one of the naysayers - it nicely goes together with some thoughts people have expressed in this thread so far:

i can see how much enjoyment fleshing out the old promising songs can bring to fans, and it makes me happy you all will be able to get this. (yes, i would love to see demos like Deep Dense and Given Thing come to life on a proper release; however i do want to hear new music from my guy first, to see where he is currently, artistically.)
maybe this album is a way to get whatever SN still owed to WB out of the way in the fastest way possible. even if she did start on this route with Without You as her contribution to FM. plus the whole box sets of old demos and unreleased songs is something many older artists do, in between other projects, and something their fans can cherish and anybody wishing to learn about their artistic process can study.
