She believed in Soldier's Angel and put forth her best. I'm not really a fan of the lyrics - the four years later part really bugs me, however, I love her vocal.
I want committed vocals and some passion.

She wasn't committed to most of her recordings between 89-93 due to her Klonopin addiction. I think the vocals on her Behind The Mask songs are the absolute worst of her career.
As far as passion goes, I think she really nailed it with You Can't Fix This. Maybe the lyrics are a little (lot) clunky but her vocal is fantastic.
