Agreed, but the problem these days is that Stevie thinks she always sounds ****ing brilliant! Her ego is so out of control that she believes she can sing exactly the same way she did in the 1970's. Stevie doesn't hear the lazy monotone delivery or the harsh belting that has become a mainstay of her performances these days.
Dave encouraged far superior vocals on IYD than were present on TISL and SYW, but he needs to be tougher on her with this next batch. |
