In fairness, I did say that in literally the next sentence.
But yes, not every song on IYD was a co-write with Dave Stewart done in the way that I described.
I think a great vocal often doesn't take countless cuts to get right. And indeed, if it's taking that long, there might be something greater wrong than just a time crunch. I don't think she'll release an album where she doesn't think she sounds good at any point. And if she does, it'll probably be for reasons other than a time crunch. She's had vocally questionable moments in her studio recordings since RAL, and this album may be no different, but I don't think the time frame will be to blame for that.
