I agree.It was fine in the 1970's and 80's as crossovers bounce on to the pop charts or pop artist bounce around on the country charts with their songs.

I love southern rock from the 1970's and 80's.I dont know what you call todays country music.

Its a overkill today.They had to do something to make country music survive this day in age.

They fired the banjo pickers ,steel guitar players,washboard players jug players and fiddle players and hired mean rock and roll electric guitar players.LOL...........

I remember when Urban Cowboy was released in 1980 .The pop charts were flooded with tunes from the movie.
