That's because Lindsey is so obssessed with overproducing songs to the point where it wouldn't be feasible to do them onstage. I love the guy to death, but he goes overboard too often.
Also, Fleetwood Mac won't step out of their safety zones for fear of losing money. Plain and simple. They just want to phone in their performances for the most part. Just look at Destiny Rules and Running Through the Garden; they dropped them almost immediately. Why? To make room for more Rumours!! They didn't fell like sticking it out to perfect these songs or they "felt" that the audience wouldn't enjoy hearing them. For one, that shows laziness and two, it shows how out of touch they are. For all I care, if they didn't do any Rumours songs on tour, I'd die a happy man. Dreams, The Chain (the chain ain't together, drop the song), Second Hand News, NGBA, Rhiannon (it can't be done justice these days, drop it), GYOW, and Don't Stop (PLEASE stop) can all stay off, I want variety and a little more involvement instead of the same old **** that they could perform while asleep. Why pay $125 for what you can see on The Dance DVD, PLUS Christine McVie?! Sorry, it's my rant for the day.
I could care less since I'm seeing them for free, but it's just my dream, folks!
Wouldn't it be something to see a setlist with Crystal, Straight Back, Sisters of the Moon, and Frozen Love?!
