Lindsey's sole comment was, "Stevie's been not sure how she wants to approach recording or when."
At face value, there's nothing in that statement to imply she's being obstinate about recording -- only that she hasn't yet committed to a time-frame (and probably whether she wants an outside producer for her songs. But that's just an assumption). There's also nothing to imply that she hasn't already sent Lindsey a few demos to listen to.
Finally, we don't even know that she
hasn't been in the studio to visit. We're all just assuming she hasn't.
In fact, we (myself included) have all made a lot of assumptions, based on that one sentence from Lindsey.
