QUOTE=SteveMacD;1122729]EP was just Lindsey's way of getting Stevie on board. "It's not a full album, what's the problem?"

What happened, why Stevie's on board, even though "we should wait three years before going back out," is Christine McVie. Christine's return is all that was needed for Stevie to be fully involved. [/QUOTE]

I think your right the EP was just Lindsey's way of trying to show Stevie that they can and should record together again. I don't know what happened after the SYW tour that made Stevie swear off recording with Lindsey again, but she said they had a good time recording the EP and doing some crazy photo shoot together so I guess (for now) they want to work together again.

I always thought that "3 years apart so fans don't get tired of us" thing Stevie kept saying was just her excuse to take a break from having to deal Lindsey for a few years.

I don't think Christine coming back to the group is the sole reason Stevie decide to do a new CD with the band (although I'm sure it did help a lot) but I think her new found friendship with Lindsey is a much bigger part of it. She and Lindsey have both said that they are much better musically as a team than separate, so if the two of them have now finally made peace with each other it seems only natural that the two of them would want to work together again.

I'm wondering if the band is still going to work with Mitchell Froom or any other producer for that matter (Dave Stewart ) or if now that the band members have all made up and (at least for now) are happy Lindsey will again be producing this CD?
