There's an interview from when she left in the early nineties where she says that Lindsey and her had a musical bond, but outside of that, they weren't friends, that they were very different people and weren't compatible to be friends. When burnish.net goes back up, I'll link you to the interview.
I think it's very evidenced, though, by the comments and attitudes towards each other. I can't imagine her being too happy when Lindsey made comments to magazines about her solo shows being akin to lounge acts. Then the whole thing with her burning her bridges; I don't care what anyone says, something happened during the Dance tour, dammit!

Chris is a very conservative musician and I'm sure that she reamed out Lindsey over Tusk and the whole throwing a drink into his face didn't help matters probably. Then she flat out says that they weren't friends at all.
Their relationship is almost as volatile as his and Stevie's!

That's an exaggeration, but, hey, you never know...
