Agreed. I like both versions; they each have different strengths and weaknesses, but both work well overall. There is no question in my mind that either incarnation is superior to the title track which they chose to release as the single. Heck, "Thrown Down" would have made a better album title, too. I think its implications of physicality would have intrigued people. Certainly the phrase is more intense and forceful than the pleading "Say You Will."
Too bad nobody asked me for suggestions.
