Bob rocks! He's always been very frank with his opinions about Mick and the way he runs the band. I love his mention of JT's minions. It shows he's fully abreast of the situation and if he is, I'll never believe the band does not know about the controversy.
Thumbs up, Bob, for not selling cds at a site run by JT! I'm sure Bob's not making near the kind of money the band's raking in now, so he has more incentive for looking the other way and using any outlet he can to sell his music. He just has more integrity than the people still in the band.
I will buy as many copies of Bob's stuff as I can and I will also tell friends to do the same. As for the band's handling of the fan club fiasco, they still think they're making a sound business decision to look the other way while a group of loyal fans gets burned. Well, I see it as an error in business judgment as well as ethically wrong. SYW still has not sold a million copies. Why? I believe part of the reason is that a lot of fans might go to the shows and some might by the cd, but longtime fans like me are not encouraging friends and relatives to buy it. I'm also not getting multiple copies for gifts, etc. I've got the dvd audio and I'm glad I have it but I'm not buying anything else.
