Her description of this episode is what most stood out in the memory of me reading the book. I crack up every time I think about it. In my mind I see the rain coming down against the backdrop of some cement building with Carol Anne running down the street and blood trickling down her leg and droplets all over the sidewalk, leaving her DNA in the streets of Philadelphia.
