Why not?
Huge shows do it all the time now - Walking Dead for one. Grey's was famous for doing tunes by up & coming artists who nobody knew of. Plus, it's already been established that Misty is obsessed with Stevie, so they could put newer or lesser-known material in. The producers are wasting a great opportunity.
And Misty is the new supreme, IMO.
