I'm sure that's true of some of the music, but I would say it's less than 1/3 of the songs. I listen to 3 country stations on Sirius, 57, 58 and 59. I just flip between them and I would say I'm not inundated with that "red, white and blue" rhetoric. It's there, but it does not predominate.
Although, I'm sure there's probably a station that is DEDICATED to just that and I could hear a lot more of it, if I was so inclined. Of course, I am more familiar with country singles than albums. So, even those artists who have mostly neutral singles climbing the charts may have some propaganda on their albums. I wouldn't know. I just know that the playlists on the stations I choose to listen to are filled with a lot fewer political and patriotic songs than they were 10 years ago in the wake of the 9/11 attack.
Back then I stopped listening because not only was I protesting their censorship, I was tired of hearing
Where I Come From and
Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue non-stop. I don't get that today. Today my biggest complaint is too much Lady Antebellum.
