Definitely the '82 version. For many reasons, but a few specific ones come to mind...
Lindsey singing "Some call her....etc etc".......hair-raising!!
That chorus-drenched guitar tone is so chilling during the verses and solos, and awesomely powerful during the chorus!
And of course.....Stevie going nuts with the vocals at the end...speaking in tongues...whatever you want to call it....it's fantastic!!
(Besides....the cloak 'n hood in the '79 version freaks me the hell out!
....lol!)
