Some people on here seem to think I'm a frootloop! I just wanted to clear up I'm not, in general. Furthermore, I want to clear up that I doubt I'll ever meet Stevie or Lindsey in person. Also, I don't care about their love/sex lives and I don't think about it a whole lot because it's simply not that interesting to me. The thing is the songs are beautiful, not all Mac songs are great - but at least there are more hits than misses. And I loved Say You Will. Thought it was wonderful. Yes it did sound somewhat schizophrenic to me too as I've read or heard other people say, somewhere or other. Schizo just meaning the bridge of Christine's voice and playing was missing. But we have In the Meantime from the same era, and that solo record was just gorgeous. To me, if Stevie wants to go do 1 more solo album, or 2 or 3 and never record with Fleetwood Mac again I wouldn't blame her: life is short and In Your Dreams her latest was amazing. She finally "got" that she doesn't have to always rock out and that some quite, reflection really suits her voice now.
These musicians are just people...they have their own lives that outsiders don't know about, but don't we all? I think to say you live a life with anyone but your family (blood/love) that is completely open-book is probably not quite honest. My life is not an open book, for one. There is a lot I internalise and I wish I had a voice like Stevie Nicks to let my writing be free...to give it life. But I'm a man with a lowish voice and not much confidence to do anything musical..
Anyway I'm going to stop before I get one of those dreadful "thanks for sharing" type of comments.
