I find this story difficult to swallow too. I know Stevie has her dippy moments, but I just can't see her being stupid enough to tell a crowd of New Yorkers that their city is awful and scary just before a show. Especially on the more-or-less sober SA tour.
I'd be interested in getting a second account, too. But I'm pretty sure this is just someone with an axe to grind.
Glad the guy seems to love his city, though.
