What you said about the Carolyn Kennedy comments is strange to me, because I also considered her a classic beauty. I think JFK, Jr. was gorgeous, but I think that she was a good match for him physically.
Before I logged back on I was actually thinking about the Beatles' wives. I'm sure their fans denigrated ALL of them, except for Barbara Bach. But I don't think Kristen is in Linda McCartney's league by any stretch of the imagination. Don't hate me Linda fans. I actually liked Wings. And I'm just here trying to avoid people who are talking about
Breaking Bad when I can't be spoiled, so...
You know I do think about it. Like Jimmy Fallon just had his baby via surrogate and his wife is 46 years old and not what I would have expected. It made me feel good actually to see her.
Beauty is definitely in the eye of the biased. I don't think people are attractive or not attractive if they come in and intervene in something I like, but I definitely do feel they are interloping and I resent it, even if my thoughts are irrational.
For instance, when I watched AHI I wanted Sheryl to get her paws off of Lindsey. I kept saying, "Why does she keep touching him? What is her deal??" On the other hand, when
Waddy and Lindsey walked off with their arms around each other, I was thrilled and rewound that moment many times. But don't think I rewind Waddy and Stevie's public displays of affection, because I do NOT.
