*Presumably* Stevie broke up with Jimmy before she married Kim Anderson.... she was working on The Wild Heart then and left Kim to go out on tour to promote the album. Joe Walsh was her opening act on that tour and that's when they hooked up.
And don't forget, when that whole Twilight affair thing happened with the actors and all and Stevie came out to defend the actress (Kristen Stewart?) for cheating, Stevie said that she herself had been in that position-- cheating on someone-- more than once, and each time SHE had been forgiven. So there's some of your overlap there.... oy.
