Can anyone find that link to that recent article Lindsey did where he talks about hanging out with REM and how they would just wing their sets some nights and how FM just never ever does that? He says something like FM creates their whole show, who says what when and all that, and "kind of locks it down" or something to that effect and just does it over and over every night...

Is their onstage shtick choreographed? You betcha. Are there some minor variations over the course a tour based on fan reactions? Yep. Are they REALLLLY gonna play out their true personal lives onstage? Don't count on it. Does that mean everything is
inauthentic, not necessarily. But it ain't literal. Just compelling to watch for some reason.
