In some ways, Tango was the true follow-up to Rumours, despite the 80s production sheen. It had more hits than Mirage or Tusk, and had Lindsey doing new things again. I always look at his Tango arrangements, inferior lyrics notwithstanding, as the jump-off point for what was to follow. Cradle built on Tango, and everything else since has built on Cradle.

I know Family Man doesn't get a lot of love, but I still love that song. The flamenco-inspired solos are tremendous.
