I agree. Have you guys forgotten how horrific those shoes were? Before seeing those shoes, I too would have said "I don't care what shoes she wears!" After getting an eyeful of the ugliest shoes I had ever seen in my life, however, I changed my mind. Comfy does not mean hideous, and those were beyond hideous. Combined with the chiffon dress under a granny sweater.... Oh gosh, what had happened to Stevie the fashion icon?!
Even worse, they took away from her trademark brand of sex appeal in such a noticeable manner that later she would market shirts proclaiming "The Boots Are Back."

Again, one can get comfortable footware that looks good, too. I hope her ankle boots don't hurt her because they look fab.
