Back when I was a dumb teenager, I bought Mirage as a budding Stevie Nicks fan trying to explore her non-solo work. I picked Mirage because it was the cheapest Mac album on the shelf.

Smart use of logic, eh? So it was my first Mac album, and apart from the Stevie songs, I mostly hated it. It sounded so bland and cheesy to me at the time. Book of Love, though, was the exception. I found that one really enticing.
My tastes have evlolved a lot since then and I actually love all of Mirage now. I'd even call it underrated. But Book of Love will always be something special to me.
