I don't consider him a reliable source of info in any way anymore. He seems bitter, and, as you stated, often contrary. While I enjoyed parts of his book, I just don't trust his motives.

Stevie has no problem standing up to Lindsey. That line of reasoning gets old. Yes, he IS the most influential, and dominant member of the band, but they're all big boys and girls and are perfectly capable, and often willing, to stand up to him. If they're not, then that's their problem.
