Default John gets new Carvin bass for tour

From the Carvin newsletter I got today:

Carvin recently built a custom AC40 acoustic-electric bass for renowned bassist John McVie of Fleetwood Mac. John visited Carvin’s Hollywood showroom looking for a new A/E bass, and was impressed with tone and playability of the AC40, so the Custom Shop made one for him to his specs. He was nice enough to invite several Carvin staffers to Sony Studios in LA where Fleetwood Mac was rehearsing for their upcoming North American tour to deliver his new instrument. John stated that he loved the "playability of the bass", the "great feel of the neck", and appreciated that the AC40 has "a lot of headroom". He summed it up in two words: "Wow!", and "Wow!". John’s AC40 will now be part of John’s rig for the upcoming tour, and Carvin is very proud to be associated with a bassist of John’s stature and prowess.
