I know. It's like real life, because it IS their real life. I can give you exact years for milestones like births, deaths, anniversaries, a move, or a new job. But that's about it. If you asked me when I stopped working with Frank, even though I remember everything, the goodbye party, where it was held, even what I wore, I probably would not give you an accurate YEAR for that event.
Of course, since Stevie's life takes place in a public forum, she could easily look it up, but why would she even care? It's good enough for her if we remember SOTM and want it. And if I was alone with her and could say, "hey lady, remember how Lindsey rested his head on your back that time?" and I could see by a twinkle in her eye that she had some vague inkling of what I was talking about, that would be good enough for me.
