I say that's a fair compromise to cater to everyone's needs"

"I actually don't mind this setlist. The "special" songs they put in are all some of my favorites."

"Just for the record, I like this set list. With the "Without You," "Sad Angel," and "Sisters of the Moon" - I am happy to get anything different. Also, I think "Say Goodbye" will be a good closer. I've also never seen "Not that Funny" live."

"In a world that is less self-absorbed than just one person's desires. A song not done in 30 + years that most people have never seen live and that could damage someone's voice the way they sang it the last time and yet venture to try it now is indeed a risk. And whatever new way they perform the song now may suck to you but could very well be awesome to me. You may say you are underwhelmed and I may say I'm excited but you can not say it is not a risk to do that song. Adding the other new ones (Without You is also new as far as a live song) only sweetens the pot. Sorry you are underwhelmed but relevance is by opinion"

"I am just happy that they are back together again, touring, singing my personal favorite song (SOTM) that I never thought I would ever get a chance to see live. And that they are recording new music. If I don't get it, then ok, they didn't want me to have it...
But right now, I couldn't be more excited to see my favorite band live from the front row late next month.
I just hope that we can all be happy that they haven't closed the door on FM and all called it quits."

I, for one, could not agree more with the above posts. I haven't posted on this message board in ages, and I can see why. It's really sad to me to see what The Ledge has become. I was one of the early members of this site waaaay back in it's hey day, and remember how exciting it would be to watch the posts come in on the night of a new tour beginning. The overwhelming majority of members on here were so excited and were filled with true FM fans! Not tonight though. Now, sadly, the Ledge is filled with a bunch of negative complainers. We got two completely new songs tonight as well as some songs that haven't been done in ages. And the hits that are in the setlist are those that true fans would be thrilled to hear. Oh and let's not forget that tons of artists who were around in the '60s and '70s haven't even toured in years for their fans. But are the majority of "fans" on here happy about any of that? Nooooo, they decide to bitch and complain the whole time instead. Sorry if I brought the party down, but I was SO eager to get on tonight to read reviews, see the setlist and get pumped up for the at least two shows that I will be happy to see on this tour. Instead, I had to wade through a plethora of negativity...it's truly sickening and I only hope that The Ledge can return to what it once was.

Here, here!

It doesn't seem like this is a "fan" forum at all anymore. It's some other kind of forum.

I hope people can appreciate that there as a time when we wondered if we would EVER see this band play live at all ever again, and a time before that when we thought we'd never see "Landslide" live again, and a time when it seemed like it would be impossible to ever get Stevie and Lindsey on the same stage at the same time in the same show again. Having gone through all that, I appreciate anything and everything I get from this band now.

And this term "relevant" or "relevance" that gets thrown around in this thread.... I don't understand the meaning of these words in this context. Relevent to what????
