Hello all---
I just wanted to say thanks to those of you who recorded songs at last night's show and shared them online.
I think I have the BN demos, but I honestly can't say that I've ever heard "Without You," and if I did, I'm not sure that I really paid attention.
Having said that, if I didn't already know it's from the BN days, I would have thought it so. It clearly has that feel to it, and that's a good thing. I love the vocal interplay between Stevie and Lindsey, and I really hope that they release the song eventually.
"Sad Angel" is everything I hoped it would be. Actually, the intro was a little weak...but WOW...that chorus! With all due respect to Lindsey's fine solo work...he always sounds better with the Mac behind him.
So, was "Big Love" the usual acoustic version? For a change, I'd love to hear them do the album arrangement.
As for the rest of the set list, it looks okay to me. Except for "Stand Back." I have a problem with them doing solo tracks during band shows. They have enough band hits and great album tracks without having to include solo songs.
