I can not even begin to write an elaborate detailed review, like Michelle did (great job btw!). So I will stick with an abbrivieated one.
I had tix for the nose bleed section and when I got to the top, the Very nice lady asked if I was alone. Of course I was this time and she gave me a tix for the Club Level.

(I had considered earlier trying to go to the box office to get an upgrade, but figured it was a lost cause). So, I was Happy!
The couple next to me wasn't very chatty, it looked like a mom and son. But the real embarrasment was the two drunk chicks behind me. They would sing every sixth line of Dreams really loud (and bad)...and then NOT know the next line. Hey, at least they "remembered" John's name on his bass part "Chain". Then Sad Angel, I was the sad one b/c these drunkees exclaimed "Yeah, It's a New Song!" and then NO one clapped or cheered when it was over. By Rhiannon, when I heard them behind my scream at the top of their lungs "Yeaahhhhhh", I had to get outta there and like a pious, FM snob, I went to another (boring-casual) area.
Anyway, on to the real show...Second Hand News was a great opener! I nearly choaked when LB screwed up the Chain line. But all is forgivin

. Sad Angel exceeded my expectations.....I LOVED IT! Hope the band feels the same way! (I know LB does). I was impressed with the Tusk trio or (4) what's the word? Sara was even a decent version. I loved Sisters but was annoyed (just a little) by Stevie's repiticious "Sisters". Overall, Great Effort!
Loved that Gypsy made an appearance and I was a little dumb-founded with Without You. To me it sounded like an overdubbed recording

I'm sad to say this was the stinker of the night.
Tusk, Eyes, NTF, GDW, SB, GYOW were all tight and sounded GREAT!
Mick and LB was euthuesastic and eager as Always! John in his own words "I'm just the bass player" didn't disappoint. I was impressed with Nicks' performance, of course being the Opening night, I would expect her to be in top form. She even seemed and sounded Happy to be there! Let's hope she keeps up the momentum.
It looks like the Mac has released 13 more dates (as of yesterday). For those of you that (I still have your attention in this exhausting review) are contemplating whether or not to go, This IS a GREAT SHOW! Even if you are just there for the music and a fun night out with one of our favorite bands, the $50+ is well money spent. Even if I had sat in nose-bleed, I still would be writing this, it is a great rock performance by Legends, warts and all.
