A great new song or two online would be a driver for more tickets... so what the heck are they thinking?

My guess is Stevie's management camp has got reigns on the releasing of these songs. Stevie has made it clear she will only be involved in recording a new Mac album if these new songs are received well by audiences. My guess is she wants
nothing officially released until the decision has been made to record another album or not. Which honestly, makes sense. If they release an online-only EP, and then those same songs get rolled into a full album, you're blunting the full album's sales & impact, without a doubt.
