I think the reason why you may see a lot of negativity around here stems from the potential that the band seemingly refuses to tap into. Even though the picture clearly doesn't represent a finished product, I can easily see why some folks aren't thrilled with that stage setup. There's just no personality or specialness to it... it's just a cut & paste corporate setup with no personality. Fleetwood Mac shows should have a certain mystical atmosphere; a sense of place if you will.

I also think many of us are so enamored with the heyday of Fleetwood Mac that it's hard for us to swallow things like the loss of Christine, or the addition of a dozen backup singers/musicians onstage with the band, or the fact they don't record new material with any sort of regularity anymore. Like Mick Fleetwood himself said, Fleetwood Mac is the poorest run rock franchise in the business. It's pretty damned frustrating to be a Mac fan. The only thing they seem interested in these days is taking our money so they can crank out the same old hits... it's pretty easy for me to see why folks around here grump & moan so much.
