This album is a grower, for sure. It was the last Rumours-era album I got because I had read such bad things about it on the boards!! LOL I was afraid of how it sounded, but dang, this album frickin ROCKS!! What I wouldn't give to go back in time to see shows from the Tusk era...sigh....
I admit when I FIRST heard it all the way through, I went "Wow, what did I just hear?" LOL I had to listen to it quite a few times for it to REALLY sink in that it was a masterpiece.
Stevie was at the TOP of her game with her vocals and lyrics.
Lindsey is a nut on Tusk and I love him when he's a nut, he went out on a limb and did some crazy vocals, wierd lyrics and freaky production....YOU GO BOYEE!!!
Christine is so cool and calm on this album, there's this softness to her voice AND songs in general...Brown Eyes is THE sexiest FM song EVER and Never Make Me Cry......makes me do just that.
