^^Lindsey has said he had to get away from all the craziness - Stevie's drug problem was obviously one of the main defining points of that. After what he had gone through with the recording, he was just over it.
This is not really a he said / she said anyway. Lindsey's wording wouldn't be the same of course, but I agree the essence was there - and his concern only increased over time. I think in '87 it was more anger.
