Probably in the same way that SUPPOSEDLY Brian Wilson burned all the original tapes of the aborted SMILE album...but 40 years later, the original recordings of the album are finally assembled & released (I'm talking about the Beach Boys version, not the version that was released as a Brian Wilson solo album)
