I think the fight was so intense not because they were a sexual couple at that time, but because they loved each other and would miss each other (Mick says Stevie told Lindsey he was breaking her _____ heart) and couldn't believe that everything was coming to an end after all the years they'd been together. Stevie was mad that Lindsey could leave, because she'd never done that, no matter how bad things had gotten. And Lindsey was hurt and didn't want to leave either, though feeling he had no choice. Mick said Lindsey sat in his car outside for awhile, like he wanted someone to come outside to him, perhaps bring him back. No one did.

I totally think her guilt was not leaving FM and going back to BN as had been the plan.

I don't necessarily think they were involved sexually then -- but whatever their relationship was by that point was definitely not as clear cut as John and Christine's. You didn't see those two going at it 10 years after their split...
