I think he wanted to attract her with the sentiment of the words too, but except for Ms. Perfect FM has never been a particularly literal band. What the song may be about won't necessarily be obvious in its words or sound. So I am not worried about this music sounding like Taylor Swift's, even if the conflict behind it may seem childish to me. I do not think the musical translation will.
I did think CAD and "it was you" were a little too sing songy (but CAD has taken on gravity live this year) and I don't want the songs to be too surface. Sometimes I worry, but then again, FM fluff even had its intricacies and I do not think Lindsey can have completely lost sight of that. Michele
