Venerable rock stalwarts Fleetwood Mac will hit the road again in 2012 for a 34-city trek that will be the 45-year-old band’s 16th major tour.
Vocalist and white-winged dove Stevie Nicks said in an interview with Billboard that in anticipation of the tour the band has recorded three new songs, which apparently “sound extremely young." The current band is the 1975-era lineup of Nicks, guitarist Lindsey Buckingham, bassist John McVie, and drummer Mick Fleetwood.
Despite claiming not to own a computer or use the Internet, Nicks had some pretty au courant comments about getting the new tunes out there in advance of the tour: “Since nobody really cares about albums anymore," she said, "you can come up with two or three great songs and just put them out there."

I just came across this, as well:
"These songs sound like they're 30," Stevie Nicks tells Billboard. "It blows my mind. Because we've never stopped, our voices and everything"
So she must think that these songs sounds like early-Fleetwood Mac stuff.
