She may not want to do an FM album or work on songs with
him, but it has nothing to do with her not having songs. She could write 4 tonight if she wanted to. I'm sure she's got loads of junk in her journals after her mother's passing, not to mention after visiting Lindsey's home and meditations on Kanye's relationship with Kim Kardashian. It would take her no time to write songs based on her diary poems. She wrote the new SYW songs over the holidays.
Lindsey was probably more correct in saying that she didn't want to give the songs she has to FM. She'd probably rather work on them with Dave.
Maybe Froom is not her thing.
As for Lindsey, I've known he's wanted a new album since the SYW tour ended. He's always said this. I have never blamed the lack of new music at his feet, but I DO blame him for comments like the Unleashed tour freed them or like what he recently said about people not particularly wanting new music. No, I don't think he believes these things. He was outvoted, so he's just following the company line, but he doesn't have to. He needn't say anything negative about having no new music, but he doesn't need to say anything insincere about it being so liberating to only have to play the new songs either. When he talks like that, I feel
