Cyndi Lauper .Yes they played the crap out of Girls Just Wanna Have Fun on the local stations WKSS,WKCI and other top 40 stations.It drove me nuts.Now I enjoy the tune when I hear it.
1984 was the year when Christine had her hit "Got a Hold on Me" plus "Love Will Show Us How" on the charts. Radio slacked on playing her tunes alot of times.
