It’s no secret that the Democrats have an easier time attracting big-name music acts to their events than the Republicans do. North Carolina native son James Taylor already rallied the troops in Charlotte, and the Foo Fighters and Mary J. Blige, among others, are scheduled to be joining in.
That doesn’t necessarily mean that the Democrats have better musical taste. (The less said of the Clintonian penchant for Kenny G. and mid-period Fleetwood Mac the better.)
