I love the Fleetwood Mac Live version of Rhiannon. As much as everyone touts the Rosebud footage or the Midnight Special appearance it was this Tusk era recording that really hit me like a ton of bricks. And to this day it still gives me goosebumps. And there is just something about that time weathered vocal, not quite so high and youthful yet not at the point where they had to rework the arrangement. It's so full of power. And the way she sings the "Once in a million" chorus with a slightly different melody than before gives it a little more depth and color. And when she reaches the crescendo towards the end with "all the same, all the same, Rhiannon" is less like a storm and more like a full on monsoon. It's just so amazing.

So true on both counts. I too loved the Tango Standback for a long time. As I got introduced to better stuff, that changed.
As for the Live album Rhiannon...I still love it, for 'all the same' reasons you do.
