Hi, all… I will tell you about my latest experience with the “wonderful” fan club pre sale. I logged on MONDAY at 9:00 am on the dot to get tickets for the Knoxville show. This is through tickets.com not ticketmaster like last time for Atlanta. [ which I ended up with section 116 seats there] Anyway, the system had “errors” right off the bat….and when I clicked on the “if you have trouble click here” link………NOTHING HAPPENED! So then it says to contact the customer service and had a number to call. So, by then its about 9:15 or so……..and I call up the ticket guys at the number listed and they have no clue what is going on! They told me that they didn’t have tickets on sale yet, …they didn’t even know the prices for the tickets. I explained that I had a fan club pass word and it was the pre-sale and they said…oh well…you’ll have to contact the website service where you are trying to get the tickets! So, then I kept going back to the PRE-SALE page and the only seats that kept coming up [and for that matter are still up for grabs today] are ROWS 11, 14 17 and 20 in the floor in al three sections. And that’s the ONLY ROWS listed. Now I know that there are not thousands of people in Tenn that are FAN CLUB members waiting to grab the tickets for KNOXVILLE….so…can someone explain to me why when I when I went to EBAY last night they had FRONT ROW CENTER FLOOR SEATS FOR KNOXVILLE for $650.00? And today I checked and they had ROWS 4 AND 7 ON THE FLOOR up for sale on EBAY!
Now, since the people at the box office in Knoxville don’t have the tickets to sell yet…and they aren’t having the student/university pre-sale until tomorrow…………..HOW DID SOMEONE GET ROW 1, 4 and 7…..when they are not even LISTED on the pre-sale page , and then when you keep “trying for better seats”..the same old ROWS keep popping up? And get this, I went to look at the Greensboro tickets that went on sale the same time and with tickets.com……..and the SAME ROWS showed up for Greensboro.
Nothing closer than ROW 11. Well, except for all those up FRONT Rows listed on EBAY for sale right now!
This makes me sick. I finally got ROW 14 center….and I guess that I should be glad for that, but it stinks to know that the GOOD seats are going to greedy bastards and not the people that paid for “the better seats”!! The way it looks to me is that the TOAD has ONE set of FRONT ROW tickets for each pre-sale …and its RIGGED for “someone” to get them and SELL THEM FOR A PROFIT!
Sorry for the rant. But I thought you guys would like to know that the FAN CLUB STILL SUCKS ;-)
I have no idea what the password is for the pre-sale for tomorrow for the university pre-sale…..if any one knows or can find out….please tell me. I would like to try and get better seats if I can. The general sale is Saturday and I will try again then.
