This article really is a lot of guff. NME is a faded force in music journalism, but this set of choices ranges from the tired old predictables to the utterly bizarre; it is odd even for them. When they can't even tell whether it's Stevie or Christine singing a line on 'Save Me', and when they litter their comments with bland generalisations, I think I ought to welcome NME's inevitable end.
