That's right. And I read comments about Stevie couldn't because of tour schedules. But I never find any official version about it.
I don't know if they asked just the "hottest" bands of 1985 to perform in Live Aid, plus some legendary bands. By that time Fleetwood Mac was kind of disbanded, though... if Bill Clinton could reunited them, I think this could have been a far stronger reason to reunite, than a President's ceremony.
