Hello Michelej1: I can identify with your situation. My father also died as a result of a stroke. For a long time, I had the same images: the man who could not speak, the man trapped in a wheelchair. I was afraid they would last forever. Eventually, these thoughts were replaced by wonderful, loving, positive memories. They remain with me today.
