So today I was walking by a music store in Decatur called Discover Music and saw a Fleetwood Mac poster in the window. I've read alot of everyone's stories about getting rare promo stuff from record stores so on a whim I decided to go in and ask the salesperson if I could buy it or have it when they were done. Well, he told me I could buy it for $20 right then
Now, this isn't a regular thin-paper poster. It is made out of a glossy vinyl-like material (its very thick) and is the kind that has the rings at the top and the bottom that little wooden tubes go in and has string on the top to hang it with. One side has the picture of the band standing in front of that fountain and the other side is the album cover photo. It's pretty big...2ft by 3ft.
Anyway, its really awesome and I was wondering if anyone else knows what particular poster I'm talking about..(the guy said it was a record company promo and they only send 1 to each record store) and what exactly is it made out of?
Anyone else wanna share there record-store find stories?
