[Silver Springs]

Hopefully there isn't a thread lurking in the mist along the same lines as this one. Knowing my luck there is, but it's hot today and I'm feeling lazy so here's another one .

Anyway, an acquaintance of mine from University has recently discovered the delights of Fleetwood Mac. Having earned quite a reputation on my course as the crazy cat lady who's obsessed with R.E.M., Fleetwood Mac and Silver Foxes (Delicious older men, eg; Lindsey, Robert Downey Jr, Rupert Everett etc), she's asked me to send her a playlist of songs that would help ease her into the Fleetwood Mac world. Does anybody have a list of songs they would share with a newling that doesn't contain the usual standards (eg Rumours fair, Rhiannon, Gyypsy, etc), but would gives a good all round overview of the FM flavour? Maybe it should be two lists, one for pre-californication and one for californications?

Okay. I'm rambling. I'll bullet point what I would like. Can you tell I've had plenty of Coffee today, lol?

• One playlist containing non-"standard" songs from the pre Lindsey/Stevie days
• One playlist containing non-"standard" songs from the Lindsey/Stevie era
• Rupert Everett in a pretty box with a bow and airholes on my doorstep in the morning...
