I know you were kidding. I was in Amherst. I loved it. But I'm sure it's quite a different experience from growing up in Springfield, Holyoke or one of the small towns around there. But there are beautiful spots all over that area. Go further West to the Berkshires, and you'll find even more.
Don't get me wrong. I'll take the coast any day over Western Mass. But it was fun for four years.
